South of Bannerman

Took the train down to NYC in July with "the boys". As 15 year olds, they wouldn't sit near me- matter of fact, they didn't even want to be associated with me! So I entertained myself with my Canon- shot a bunch of pics out the filthy train window. This was a scene just south of Bannerman Castle (hence the name). The green stuff on the water was so beautiful, and not nearly so beautifully captured here as it was in real life.

Winter warmth

I love to capture the warmth that can be found even on the most frigid of winter days. I am not brave enough yet to paint en plein air. Someday!
