Took the train down to NYC in July with "the boys". As 15 year olds, they wouldn't sit near me- matter of fact, they didn't even want to be associated with me! So I entertained myself with my Canon- shot a bunch of pics out the filthy train window. This was a scene just south of Bannerman Castle (hence the name). The green stuff on the water was so beautiful, and not nearly so beautifully captured here as it was in real life.
This is a space for thoughts and images on faith and art...I welcome visitors to comment on my work and encourage you to share yours with me too. One of my favorite quotes is from Elizabeth Barrett Browning: "Earth is crammed with heaven. Every bush is aflame with the fire of God..." My aim in art is to reveal the Creator behind the created, sometimes in the simplest things that we often overlook.
